The 2009-2010 Honda Civic 4 Door Sedan, with the clean JDM style, will become a nice ride if you modify it right.  The clean looking headlights are nice enough that you don’t need more modification on it.  If you want to add some lighting part for your 09-10 Honda Civic front end, we recommend you the 09-10 Honda Civic Sedan Clear Fog Lights or 09-10 Honda Civic Sedan JDM Yellow Fog Lights.  These Civic fog lights not only can give your 09-10 Honda Civic Sedan an extra light source, they can also give your Honda Civic a more sporty and aggressive appearance.  These 09-10 Honda Civic fog lights are using H11 light bulbs, and it will be a good idea to apply H11 HID conversion kit with these 09-10 Honda Civic Fog lights.  With the clear lens Civic Fog Lights, you can basically apply HID kit with any color temperature, such as 3000K JDM Yellow, 6000K pure white, 8000K blueish white, 10000K deep blue or 12000K purple.  On the other hand, if you are installing the JDM style yellow lens Civic Fog lights, you should go 3000K JDM Yellow HID Kit.

Notice that these 09-10 Honda Civic fog lights will ONLY fit 2009-2010 Honda  Civic 4 Door Sedan, and it WILL NOT FIT 09-10 Honda Civic 2 door coupe.  These 09-10 Honda Civic fog lights come with all necessary parts for installation including the on/off switch.  These Civic fog lights also come with pre-installed H11 light bulbs, but as mentioned, it will be a good idea to apply HID conversion kit with these fog lights kit.  A little bit of modification will be needed to do the back cover of the fog lights if you are going to install HID kit.  Basically, there is a fog lights cover at the back of the fog lights that protect the housing of the fog lights and cover the back of the fog lights.  With the HID conversion kit, you will need to drill a little hole at the back cover to allow the wires to come out from the HID light bulbs, or you can cut a little hole to allow the wires out.

This is the installation guide for the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 Toyota Tundra Fog Lights.  In this reviews, we will teach you how to install this 07-10 Toyota Tundra Fog lights with easy step-by-step instruction.  These Toyota Tundra Fog Lights are designed for the Tundra with pre-wired fog harness which means it’s “Plug and Play Install”.  After you read this instruction, don’t forget to go to our storefront and get a pair of 2007-2010 Toyota Tundra Fog lights for your 07, 08, 09 or 10 Toyota Tundra. (Please review complete instructions before starting)

Verify the kit contents

1: Lossen the bottom of the Splash Shield

See Figure 1: Remove both of the 10mm bolts from the Spiash Shield behind the left (driver’s side) Fog Lamp position.  Use either a 10mm socket or a Phillips screw driver.

See Figure 2: Remove the lower Push Clip from the Spiash Shield.  Push in both wings, with a flat bladed screwdriver, to remove it the Weather Guard from bumper.

2: Remove the Fog Lamp Blanks from the bumper

Insert a thin, Flat screwdriver, at about 12 and 9 o’clock, to release the tab.  Pull the Filler out from the front.  (See Figure 3)

3: Install the Left Fog Lamp ( driver’s side ) assembly.

See Figure 4.  Put it in from the front.  Insert the two tabs, further to the back, before the one first released when removing the Filler.  Push it in firmly until you hear a Locking Sound.

Use a Zip Tie to fasten the Fog Lamp Assembly to the bumper frame as shown.
Plug the connector into the Lamp.  The connector is taped up to the harness, just above the Fog Lamp.

Install the Fog Relay

2) Remove the Fuse Box Cover.
It is located just behind the battery in the Engine bay

3) Install the Fog Relay.
Plug the Fog Relay into the position shown.  You can check the position on the Diagram located inside, under the Fuse Box cover.

Install the Fog Lamp Switch

1.) Remove the driver’s side Door Sill Molding.

2.) Remove the driver’s side Kick Panel.
Remove the Plastic Nut above the driver’s Foot Rest.

3.) Remove the Lower Driver Side Dashboard.

Remove both of the 10mm bolts, designated 1 and 21.

Pull the bottom outward slightly, then pull the top tabs out.  There are two tabs on each side of the steering wheel.  Gently, allow it to hang from the cables.

4.) Insert the Fog Lamp Switch.

Remove the Blank from the Fog Light Switch position.  Squeeze the tabs together, from the rear, and slide it out the front.

5. Install the Harness ( Disconnect the Negative of the Battery)

a) Red Wire : Positive Input to the Switch.  Located Top Left Panel 3 Pins Down from the Top.

Install the Red input Wire and connect it to the green wire, as shown.  Snap it closed with a pair of pliers.  Insert the terminal securely.

*If you have a Alarm Installed.  Please connect the Red and “the Existing White Wire” to the Green wire.

When the Battery is Connected, Use the Circuit light tester on the Green Wire to verify that it’s the Parking Light Output.

b) Blue Wire: Negative Output.  Located on Top Right Panel 4 pin Down.

Install the Blue output wire tap into 22 gauge thin Blue wire, you may Unplug this Harness to make it easier to tap into, the Blue wire is thin to make sure you have a good Connection.  (See Photo Above)

c) Black Wire : Ground.

Remove the 10mm Ground Bolt Label “C”.  Place the Black wire terminal on the bolt and then replace it.  Tighten it securely.

Route the wires neatly so that they do not interfere with the panels when replaced.  Zip Tie them in place if necessary.

Place Double Check to make sure the Red and Blue wire is correct in Figure 10

6.) Restore Power  ***( Use Circuit Light Tester on Green Wire to Detect Parking Lamps)***
Connect Negative on Battery, Turn on Parking Lights Mode.
The new Switch will now illuminated.  Test Switch On-Off for the Fog Lamps.

Replace the interior panels.

Slide the driver’s side Kick Panel forward into place.  There are two clamps which must be engaged.
Replace the Plastic Nut removed in step 2.  Tighten firmly by hand.

These 96-98 Honda Civic EK fog lights use H3 light bulbs, and it is compatible with HID conversion kit; however, since the back of these Honda Civic fog lights are closed with a plastic cover, so you will need to drill a hole for the HID kit wire to go to the ballast.  The modification is very easy, and once you get the wire out, you will have a super bright HID conversion kit on your Honda Civic fog lights.  The clear lens 96-98 Honda Civic fog lights is the best for HID conversion kit because the clear lens allow different color to pass through, so you can apply 3000K yellow HID conversion kit, 6000K white HID conversion kit, 8000K blueish white HID conversion kit, 10000K blue HID conversion kit or 12000K purple HID conversion kit.  The yellow lens 96-98 Honda Civic Fog lights, on the other hand, can only produce yellow light output for the fog lights, and it works the best with 3000K HID conversion kit; however, the yellow lens fog lights give your Honda Civic EK a special JDM look, and it is the most popular Civic EK fog lights among the 3 styles.  If you are having a black Honda Civic EK, the smoke lens Honda Civic EK fog lights will fit your Civic the best because it will create a black sporty look on your bumper.  However, since the lens of the smoke fog lights are tinted, the light output will not be as bright as clear or yellow lens fog lights.

Classic 7’’ round headlights has never looked so good until now.  Turbometal unveiled its 7’’ round sealed beam headlights with a twist of adding LEDs into the headlight.  These 7” round led headlights can be used with any vehicle with a 7 inch headlight application.  The headlights are compatible with hid kits as well.

Installation is very simple on these 7” round led headlights.  All you need to do is remove the rubber cap on the back of the 7” led round headlights, place the bulbs in or hid bulbs in and lock it into place with the metal pins.  If you plan on using these 7” round led headlights with a hid kit, make sure when you’re putting the bulbs in they are not touching the side.  Take your time and install them the correct way or else if the bulbs touch the side of the housing, the high temperature hid bulbs will heat up the housing and cause smoke.  In the back of the 7” round led headlights there are also 2 sets of loose wires for the Led, which can be wiring into the parking lights or the headlights to be turned on.  It’s just a matter of personal preference.

Since the Audi published their LED daytime running light with their headlights, daytime running lights have become a trend on auto lighting market.  A lot of luxury European cars come with the LED strip daytime running lights on the bumper.  If you want to add the daytime running light feature with your vehicle, Turbometal has the right item for you:

Among the 3 styles 01-03 Honda Civic Fog Lights, I personally prefer the yellow lens 01-03 Honda Civic fog lights which gives your 01-03 Honda Civic a JDM look; however, the bad thing about these yellow fog lights is that they can only output yellow lights because the color of the lens limit the light output.  If you want your fog lights output other colors than yellow, you have to go with the clear housing 01-03 Honda Civic fog lights.  In my opinion, the clear lens fog lights work the best with HID conversion kit because the lens allow all the light to pass through the transparent lens, so it will have less risk for the lens to be melted.  The smoke lens fog lights, on the other hand, match the best with dark color Honda Civic; however, since these smoke lens 01-03 Honda Civic fog lights are tinted, they will trap some heat inside the housing and increase the risk of melting lens in a long drive.  Therefore, if you are using smoke lens 01-03 Honda Civic Fog lights, you should apply HID conversion kit because HID produces less heat than regular light bulbs.

Fog lights are a good lighting parts for modification – 1. fog lights can increase your visibility in the nighttime, 2. fog lights give you a extra light source, and you can apply HID conversion kit with it to make your car unique.  03-05 Honda Accord Coupe fog lights kit is a very good example that can change the look of Honda Accord dramatically:

Keep in mind that these fog lights kit will fit 2003 2004 2005 Honda Accord 2 Door Coupe ONLY, will not fit 4 Door Sedan or 2006 and 2007 version ( I know 06 07 Honda Accord looks very similar to 03-05, but they are using different fog lights application).

The 03-05 Honda Accord fog lights come in clear lens, yellow lens and smoke lens.  For the clear lens 03-05 Accord Coupe fog lights, you can apply whatever color light bulbs and produce the color you want in the dark.  My recommendation is either 6000K HID Kit with white color, 8000K HID Kit with blueish color or 3000K HID Kit if you want to give your Honda Accord a JDM look.   For the yellow lens 03-05 Accord Coupe fog lights, you can only produce yellow light output because the color of the lens limit the option; however, the yellow lens will give your car a cool JDM look in daytime as well!  In fact, the yellow lens Honda Accord fog lights are more popular than the clear or smoke one.  For the smoke lens 03-05 Accord Coupe fog lights, they match the best with dark color Honda Accord; however, since the lens is tinted, the light output will be dimmer than clear or yellow.  Smoke lens look pretty cool if your Honda Accord is dark tone like with tinted windows, tinted tail lights and black rims.

The Acura TSX, also known as European Honda Accord or JDM Honda Accord, is a nice looking sedan car with sports car look.  The projector lens for TSX is so good that a lot of custom-made projector headlights will apply the TSX projector lens to their headlights.  So if you own a Acura TSX and want to fix up a little bit for the lighting, you don’t need to worry about the projector headlights at all since they look very good already, you can install the fog lights kit instead and give you car a extra light source.  Turbometal carries 03-06 Acura TSX fog lights in clear, 03-06 Acura TSX fog lights in JDM yellow and 03-06 Acura TSX fog lights in smoke lens.

These Acura TSX fog lights kit are applying H11 light bulbs for light output, and you can apply H11 HID Conversion Kit with these fog lights to give extra brightness to your TSX fog lights.  If you are applying clear lens TSX fog lights and you want to output JDM style yellow lights at night, you can apply 3000K HID conversion kit for the yellow color light output.  You can also apply like 10000K or 12000K HID conversion to output pink color light as well.  It’s all up to you!  If you are applying the yellow lens TSX fog lights, the option for the light output will be limited because the lens is yellow and it can only have yellow light output; however, the yellow lens give your TSX a really cool JDM look in the daytime as well, so these yellow lens are actually quite popular!  The smoke lens TSX fog lights will match the best if you have a dark color Acura TSX, however the light output will be dimmer because the lens is tinted, yet it will give your car a really cool dark color tone if it can match with your TSX.

There are a lot of aftermarket parts for 02-04 Acura RSX on the market, including headlights, tail lights, fog lights, brake lights, suspension, header, bumper lips, carbon fiber hood, etc.  You can make your Acura RSX really fancy, yet if you do not have a pair of fog lights for your Acura RSX yet, you better get a pair of these because it can really change the look of your RSX.
