Turbo Metal was at the 2011 CES show in Las Vegas Nevada.  The show was a great sucess and as expected, CES 2011 was tablet ecstasy.  The tablets made by all the big name brand companies stole the show.  Such name brands like Dell, LG, Samsung, Acer, Asus, MSI, and more.  My personal favorite was the 7-inch Dell Streak.

Audi had a very bright white booth at the 2011 CES show.  The R8 E-tron along with many other new Audi vehicles were parked inside the booth.  The new Audi vehicles looked very impressive.  Check out the pictures below.  Too bad test drive was out of the question.

Another motor all star that made a big impact at the 2011 CES show was Hydunai.  Surprisingly, Hydunai had a ton of brand new ideas for drivers interfaces.  Everything looked very futuristic at the Hydunai booth, voice control, touch screen, and much more were ideas displayed at the show.  I really liked the new Hydunai Smart Connectivity System.

Over all the show was great and it was very tiring to get coverage of the whole show.  If you ever get a chance to go to the CES show we suggest you spend at least 3 days there.  One day is just not enough.  Check out some of our live coverage pictures.

There was so many cars and trucks to look at the 2010 Sema Auto Show.  With everyone gathering around trying to take pictures it was hard to get some good shots but, here are some of the crazy things that went on at the Sema Auto Show 2010.  Turbo Metal was at the Sema Auto Show 2010 live to bring you all the fun things that went on.  One of my favorites was the project X car check out the pictures below.

Pretty nice huh?  And if I told you that there was a transformer at the Sema Auto Show 2010 would you believe me?  Well hell, there was and it was huge.  A company that makes aftermarket headlights called Anzo had a huge Bumblebee at there booth.

Look at that thing, isn’t it huge?  Sema is always a fun car show to go to, it’s the biggest car show they have in Vegas.  You will see all sorts of cars, trucks, and hod rods.  If you are lucky you might even see a limbo scooter.

All the big players like Honda, Toyota, Audi, Ford, Chevy, and more had their newest and best cars lined up at the show.  I felt like a little kid at a candy store, so much to see and so little time.  You could walk endlessly and see fancy cars, rims, parts to clean your car and much much more.  It’s something you have to see if you have never been to the Sema Auto show.

First of all , Turbometal is apologizing to our dear customers because almost all of our employees attended the SEMA car show in Las Vegas Convention Center this week, and we might have missed some phone calls or delay the order for 1 business day.  Good news is we have seen quite a lot of new products in SEMA, and Turbometal will start to contact all the wholesales and put the nice items on our web site!

We found that it will be good if we can cover some news about SEMA 2009 to our readers so that they can know what happened in Las Vegas during this week and what is the trend is gonna be.  I still remember the most popular car in SEMA 2008 is GTR and Dodge Challenger; in SEMA 2009, we see quite a lot of new Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang and Hyundai Genesis.  Well, I’m not surprised that I’ll see Camaro or Mustang, but Hyundai really surprised me this year, because their new Hyundai Genesis really caught my attention.

Other than the Hyundai Genesis, another vehicle that caught my attention is Lexus LF-A.  I thought it was a Audi R8 when I first saw it, but then it doesn’t make sense that Lexus will put an Audi R8 under their booth, so I walked to the front and “OH MY GOD”!   With the streamline sports car look and the matte black paint, the Lexus LF-A is a monster car.  I haven’t seen any LF-A on the road yet, but I assume it will be an extremely expensive ride and you can compare it to Lambo or Ferrari.

Let us talk about what new products we found in SEMA and Turbometal’s new product list in the coming 3 months.  First, we saw a lot of cool trucks in SEMA this year.  One thing in common is that they have some parts, such as grilles or rims, from RBP (Rolling Big Power).  RBP has a star logo as their signature, and they make black grilles and black rims for trucks.  This is a brand we are going to carry shortly, so truck people can pay attention to our web site or our blog for more details abotu RBP products.

On June 14, 2009 the Sport Compact Show (SpoCom) was held at the Long Beach Convention Center. The doors opened at 11:00am followed by a dance competition at 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Things really started to heat up at 2:00pm with the bikini contest.

At 3:30pm the dance awards ceremony announced the winners of all the dance groups.  By 4:00pm all the models got back on stage for the Lollime bikini fashion show and the lingerie show. Finally, at 5:30pm the judges gave out the car show awards.

To give you a general idea the convention center was divided into three sections. One section showcased a huge gallery of modified cars. The next section grouped all the manufacturers and their newest product lines.

All the booths had plenty of enthusiasts discussing products. The main stage was the last section where the bikini contest, dance competition and fashion show happened.

The 3rd annual SpoCom show had a great crowd with a friendly vibe. The turn out for import models was amazing. There were loads of familiar models from the tuning scene including Jenny Chu, Kt So, Christine Mendoza, Kira Kaye, Miss Genna, and Jasmin Pacheco.

The show was a total success due to all the hardcore enthusiasts and car exhibitors. Be sure you visit next year if you missed out this year.
