97-01 Honda Prelude Clear Fog Lights, 97-01 Honda Prelude JDM Yellow Fog Lights and 97-01 Honda Prelude Smoke Fog Lights are the bestsellers in Turbometal. In fact, if you owe a 97-01 Honda Prelude, you really need to get these fog lights to give your car a brighter and more JDM look on the bumper. Among the three different colors, the clear housing Honda Prelude fog lights are the bestseller, because you can apply different light bulbs to create different light output in order to match your Honda Prelude. You can even go further to install HID conversion kit with these fog lights as well, and the result will be excellent. Another important improvement about Turbometal’s 97-01 Honda Prelude fog lights is that our Honda Prelude fog lights come with a extra switch slot for installation. Other Prelude fog lights on the market, you have to give up one stock switch in order to install the fog lights switch next to the steering wheel, or you will have to install the switch next to your seat. With Turbometal’s new 97 Honda Prelude fog lights, you do not need to worry about this problem, you can install the switch directly under the 3 switches you already have next to the steering wheel:
There are a lot of ways you can play with the 97-01 Honda Prelude Fog Lights. For instance, if you want to give your car a JDM look, you can either get the Yellow housing Honda Prelude fog lights kit, or you can get the Clear housing Prelude fog lights kit and apply 3000K yellow HID conversion kit. I’ll prefer using a clear lens fog lights because the clear housing allow more lights to pass through the lens, yet the yellow lens might trip some lights in the lens and if your light bulbs are too strong, there will be a risk that the yellow lens might melt. The clear lens will totally avoid melting problem. Here are some pictures of the JDM yellow look Honda Prelude fog lights:
Like I said before, the clear housing Honda Prelude fog lights allow you to have more option on the light output. You can apply like 12000K purple HID conversion kit, 6000K white HID conversion kit, or even green-white light output ( I am not kidding, it looks nice, check the picture below ). Good thing about clear lens is that the clear lens allow all light output to pass through the lens, so not much heat is trapped on the lens, and the lens are not easy to melt, and basically you can apply whatever light bulbs or color temperature with clear lens fog lights. If your Honda Prelude has a dark color tone, for example, if you have a Black Honda Prelude and you are putting black headlights and black rims, you can consider using the smoke Honda Prelude fog lights to match the tone; if you are having a red Honda Prelude with black rims and black headlights, the smoke fog lights are also a good choice. Same problem like the yellow lens fog lights however, the light might trapped on the lens, so you might need to use a less powerful light output to avoid the lens melting.
